The Trailmix team is small, highly motivated and entrepreneurial. We work collaboratively and effectively. We iterate fast and everyone contributes to solving problems and making high quality mobile games. We are based in Camden Town, one of the most exciting parts of Central London.
In this role, you will join as the first UI artist, which will allow you to develop your own processes and direction and have a real impact on the player’s experience. You will work in a self-organised team and collaborate closely with artists, designers and developers. Moving from high level discussions to hands-on work, working creatively and building something meaningful is the routine of this exciting role.
Some of the core day-to-day tasks include:
Translating high level requirements into very clean and clear designs
Designing and concepting player-centric UI
Creating mockups and wireframes
Exploring user flows
Preparing and implementing assets using Unity
Creating mockups and wireframes
Participating in collaborative team discussions

In order to excel in this role the following skills and experiences are essential:
3+ years experience in creating UX and artwork for mobile games, preferably f2p
Professional experience with Unity for UI implementation
Experience with Unity Animation systems
Strong eye for cohesive and clear designs
Ability to create and adapt to various different styles of UI
Great knowledge of best UI/UX practises used across the market
Solid experience with wireframing and user flows
Strong artistic abilities, especially with rendering consistent final 2D assets
Experience with iconography, typographical and layouts
Experience in working independently and planning as well as tasking your work
Some nice bonus skills include:
Superstar skills in Unity (the more the better!)
Strong knowledge of user experience and design psychology
Experience in animation, 3D knowledge (Maya) and a strong 2D art background
Experience working in an agile environment as part of a diverse team
F2P mobile game experience throughout all stages of development (from conception to live production)
